So the human blimp, Rush Limbaugh, said this on his radio show the other day:

I’ll guarantee you Obama was hoping this was going to be a disaster as another excuse for his failing economy,” he said. “If he’s out there blaming tsunamis, blaming earthquakes, this one [was] made to order, but it just didn’t measure up.

Now this isn’t really anything out of the ordinary but it got me thinking.  Didn’t some of the other Conservative talking heads say that all these natural disaster’s are part of God’s “punishment” for everyone being gay.

Glenn Beck:

How many warnings do you think you’re going to get, and how many warnings do you deserve? This hurricane that is coming thorough the East Coast, for anyone who’s in the East Coast and has been listening to me say ‘Food storage!’ ‘Be prepared!’ If you’ve waited, this hurricane is a blessing. It is a blessing. It is God reminding you — as was the earthquake last week — it’s God reminding you you’re not in control.

mmoQQ’s darling, Michelle Bachmann:

I don’t know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians. We’ve had an earthquake; we’ve had a hurricane. He said, ‘Are you going to start listening to me here?’… Listen to the American people, because the American people are roaring right now, Bachmann continued.  They know government is on a morbid obesity diet and we’ve got to rein in the spending

Bachmann’s comments are being defended by saying she said it as a joke, video here.  While people are laughing (I dont know why, it’s a pretty lame joke if you believe she is just horsin’ around) it isn’t too much of a leap to think that she believes that God is sending a message right now in the form of killing innocent people.  That will show those gay liberals!

Now I know Obama is secretly a Muslim, but he still claims he prays to the Christian God.  During his prayers, asking for a hurricane on the east coast or a couple earthquakes around the world to help out his approval ratings probably came up.

So answer me this: if Obama prays to God for natural disasters so that people forget how bad he is, are all of the recent disasters still a message from God that we should all stop being gay?  Is Obama secretly a conservative now?  Or are we just going to go with that he is praying to Allah who is the bad God that is doing all these mean things and that’s why we can’t be gay anymore.
