Nerd on the WoW boards talking a lot of smack on Bioware/SWTOR.  Come on guys why would you play WoW when it is just copying Everquest.  It has the same raiding, combat is similar, and has a lot of the same classes!  Its like they came out with a Warcraft mod for EQ!  I HATE THIS GAME!

Has anybody seen ToR so far?
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the original KoToR games, they were !@#$ing great. I can’t even count how many times I’ve played through them when I was younger.

But…in all honesty, this game looks like a HUGE WoW copy. I loved the idea of a good Star Wars MMO when this was released, but every time I see footage of it now, I just get annoyed and stop watching halfway through.

It’s like the developers weren’t even trying to make the game different from WoW except in terms of RPG elements and other in-game stuff. The combat, hell, the raiding is the exact same damn thing as WoW.

Hey, that’s a pretty cool Star Wars mod, isn’t it? Actually, it’s another different game, weird, I know. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had talent trees, and a dungeon finder. The casting bar is even in the same space for God’s sake. Seriously, if I wasn’t told otherwise, I literally would have thought this was some kind of Star Wars expansion for WoW.

In all honesty, I really don’t see this game getting far. I could go on for a long long time about the other things I’ve grown to despise about this game so far, but I felt this was good enough for the time being.
